About Silicon Valley International School

Silicon Valley International School (INTL, pronounced “international”) provides a unique bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) experience with Chinese, French (accredited by the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale), and German programs from preschool to 12th grade. For 1st-4th Graders, we have a Passport Program - an intensive dual-language track integrating new French learners into our acclaimed bilingual inquiry-based program. Starting in 6th Grade, we also offer our Upper School Language Acquisition program for students with no prior bilingual experience. Founded in 1979, INTL is now known as the premiere bilingual IB World School on the West Coast offering the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programme. With 45 years of bilingual immersion experience, INTL has combined the benefits of language immersion with the world-renowned IB. Our students embrace complexity, think critically from multiple perspectives, and demonstrate integrity and sensitivity across cultures.
